Bella Bottini, APCC

Psychotherapist

Bella believes that everyone deserves compassion and the opportunity to have their unique story heard. She feels that each patient is the expert of their own life experience, and that as a psychotherapist, her role is to walk alongside them, offering guidance, safety, curiosity, and respect. Utilizing evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT); she specializes in treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, addiction, body image issues and eating disorders.

Bella received her BAE in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, and her professional experiences as a teacher prompted an interest in the developmental origins of mental health and its manifestations throughout the lifespan. She went on to receive her M.ED in Human Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University, and looks forward to continuing to grow in her knowledge of integrative care as a member of True Life’s interdisciplinary clinical team.

Bella is passionate about helping break down the stigma, barriers, and norms that prevent individuals from receiving the mental health care they deserve. She views treatment as a collective effort, and is excited for the opportunity to collaborate with clinicians, patients, and their loved ones, to effect meaningful change.

Beyond her professional life, Bella enjoys travelling and immersing herself in different cultures around the world. She loves being outdoors and finds joy through creative hobbies.
