OVERVIEW
Our Story

The First Step Toward Your True Life

Reach out. We’ll walk you through the rest.

Beginning mental health treatment can feel overwhelming — especially when comparing options like IOP vs PHP, or deciding between outpatient vs residential treatment. Our admissions team is here to simplify that process.

When you contact True Life Center (via phone or confidential form), we help you understand:

  • Whether an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) best fits your needs
  • How outpatient treatment differs from residential care
  • What level of support will allow you to heal while remaining engaged in daily life

During conversations with our admissions team, you can expect confidentiality, compassion, and clinical insight. Our goal is to determine the right level of care for you or your loved one.

If True Life is not the right fit, we will connect you with a trusted provider in our referral network. If our program aligns with your needs, we will schedule a tour and a comprehensive intake assessment.

We look forward to introducing you to our clinical team onsite (alternative arrangements can be made for out of state and international patients). You will get a better sense of our model of care and our providers during a thorough biopsychosocial assessment that includes:

  • Developmental History
  • Mental Health History
  • Medical History & Current Medications
  • Sleep, Nutrition, & Exercise Patterns
  • Social & Family Functioning
  • Trauma & Stress History
  • Current Symptoms & Functional Impairments
  • Goals for Treatment & Recovery

The information gained from this assessment allows True Life’s clinical and administrative team to craft a customized treatment plan, with modalities and providers who can help you achieve your goals, and on a schedule that works for your life.

Healing is a dynamic process, and you deserve care that changes with you. As we get to know one another better, we will continue to work collaboratively – with you and your loved ones, within our own team, and with outside medical providers – to adapt your treatment plan for your needs.

At the same time, we will hold a shared vision for your future, and track progress through both quantitative data (including biomarkers and evidence-based outcome measures), and qualitative assessment from our experienced clinicians.

How does True Life Center Work With Insurance?

As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional and integrative mental health care, True Life operates as a private pay treatment provider, however, many of our patients receive partial reimbursement through PPO insurance plans.

Each patient and family works directly with our concierge billing specialist, who submits courtesy claims and superbills to insurance on patients’ behalf, prepares and provides all required documentation for out-of-network claims, advocates for the maximum allowable reimbursement, and coordinates authorizations and doctor-to-doctor calls when necessary. Most importantly, our specialist provides transparency, accessibility, and ease to you along the treatment journey

FOR LOVED ONES
You Don’t Have To Carry It Alone

You Don’t Have To Carry It Alone

Mental health challenges don’t affect just one person. They ripple outward, impacting family members, partners, and close friends as well. If you’re seeking information or care on behalf of someone you love, we’re here to support you.

Our admissions team can provide not only information, but also guidance on how to share that information and approach difficult conversations. If your loved one does admit for treatment with us, we encourage continued involvement through family and couples therapy, psychoeducation, and support groups for families and loved ones, as well as progress updates as clinically indicated.

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We honor your involvement and are here to support you and the people you love, every step of the way.
