Clinical Coordinator

Amanda Riebel is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (License #95240) with a background in working with individuals, children, families, and medical teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment. She is also a compassionate therapist that uses evidence-based therapeutic models to support patients in finding relief from suffering and enhancing joy and fulfillment.

Amanda received her MA in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Upon graduation, she provided psychotherapy, and helped coordinate patient care for UCSD Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics. She also gained experience in private practice at San Diego Psychotherapy and Wellness Center; and provided psychotherapy, case management, and advocacy for the care, safety, and wellbeing of foster care youth with San Diego Center for Children.

At True Life Center, Amanda plays a crucial role in supporting patients, their families and loved ones, from admission to discharge. She is grateful to have a career that allows her to be there for individuals during some of life’s most difficult seasons; and she aims to create a collaborative relationship that aids in self-discovery, improved management of life’s stressors and family dynamics, and the release of unhelpful behavioral and thinking patterns. Amanda believes in the power of a mind-body approach to facilitate sustainable healing, so she is thrilled to be part of such a skilled and diverse clinical team.

When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her hound-mix dog Kinzie, reading, practicing yoga, and grabbing coffee with friends.
